Achieving Your Goals

Eight years ago my husband was diagnosed with Stage IV Colorectal Cancer and our life as we knew it was turned upside down in a matter of minutes.  He fought a brave and difficult battle for a little over two years, but ultimately succumbed to this disease at the young age of 42.  After my husband passed, I had a really difficult time navigating this thing called life, but always knew that there had to be a bigger purpose for his passing .  Over these last few years, I came to realize just how many people I have helped with their own battles, whether it be cancer related, relationships, treatment options, caregiving and so much more.  I am not a doctor by any means, but after traveling to New York and Illinois for my husband’s treatments I almost feel like I could be.  Trauma is real and the PTSD that comes with it is also very real.  Caretaking especially takes a mental toll when caring for someone who is sick.  I realized that while there are a ton of resources for the individual that has been diagnosed, the caretakers are thrown into a new roll with absolutely no help or guidance.  This is where I come in.  I can help you navigate these unchartered waters and all the emotions that go hand in hand with a cancer diagnoses and believe me, there are many.  I am currently certified as a Reiki Practitioner as well as Confidence, Happiness, Forgiveness and Emotional Life Coaching.
